Big Delivery

I have two cards to share with you today. Both using the same stamp set. My cousins eldest is 3 and my friends youngest is 2, and they both love cars, so I made them both a car card I know they'll love!

Because I made them both at the same time, I used the same My Mind's Eye paper pad - Boy Crazy. It's a collection I haven't used much of, but has perfect colours for toddler cards :)I coloured both cars and cupcakes with copic markers and added dazzling diamonds on the cupcakes.

Roar

It was my son's 4th birthday two weeks ago, and although he had a Kung Fu Panda themed party, he requested a dinosaur card  with 2 dinosaurs on it. Yes, very specific! So this is what I made him! He loved it. The dinosaurs are from a Stampin Up set and I coloured them with Copic markers. I hand cut the grass and used white cardstock and blue paper for the clouds. I used glimmer paper to cut the 4. I love those chunky numbers for kids cards!

Stamps: Dinoroar (Stampin Up)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Cherry cobbler, Vellum, Glimmer Paper (Stampin Up)
Papers: Fly A Kite (My Mind's Eye)
Accessories: My Mind's Eye and Spotlight buttons, Jillibean Soup twine, MFT big numbers die

Special Delivery

Papertrey Ink has the most wonderful baby stamps. This set is probably my favourite. The stork is so adorable. I stamped it on white cardstock and added some dazzling diamonds to it's wing. The papers are My Mind's Eye. I used white cardstock and vellum for the clouds and sewed through them. I am STILL yet to buy a grass border die, so mine is hand cut, and I sponged the tips with Pistachio ink. And after I made this one for a friends mum, I had some requests for a boy version. So here it is!

I'm not sure which one I like better!!!

Ewe Complete Me

Hi there! I have a set of three cards for you today. They were published in Februarys issue of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft.

I used the one stamp, from the Cat's Pajamas Ewe Complete Me set, to create all three cards. I couloured them in with copic markers, and all the papers are from My Mind's Eye.

Such cute sentiments, they could be used for partners, friends, or family!

On Your Wedding

One of the most difficult card genres I have trouble making is wedding cards. I love to make Valentines day cards, and Love cards, but wedding cards are another level I feel. For this one, I used the MFT modern Morocco cover plate die. I layered a glimmer paper heart on a white scalloped heart, and embossed a smaller teal heart. I used two overlapping doilies for behind the hearts, and a spellbinders label to stamp the sentiment on. It was the perfect size!

Stamps: Happily Ever After (Taylored Expressions)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Smokey Slate, Island Indigo (Stampin Up)
Papers: Glimmer Paper (Stampin Up)
Accessories: Spellbinders hearts, and label dies, doilies, MFT Modern Morocco die, Stampin Up crystal buttons & ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folder

It's A Girl

I love making baby cards. And one of my favourite sets to use is Hello Baby from Flourishes. However, I have always used the other images in this set and this is the first time I've used this tree one, and oh my gosh I love it!!! It's very quick and easy to colour. And I paper pieced the baby clothes and bib using some old My Mind's Eye papers that I always seem to use on my baby cards! I added a vellum label and doily behind the image and some glimmer paper and lace to make it especially girly :)

Stamps: Hello baby (Flourishes)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento), Copic markers
Cardstock: Copic X-Press It, Whisper White (Stampin Up), Glimmer paper (Stampin Up)
Papers: Be Happy (My Mind's Eye), He Said She Said (Teresa Collins)

Happy Birthday

What little girl doesn't love fairy wings, glitter and pink right? I had that in mind when I made this card. The adorable image is a digital stamp from Tiddly Inks. I coloured her with copic markers and added some dazzling diamonds to her wings. You can't really see in this picture, but I embossed white flowers onto the text paper and stamped pink lines over them. I don't use yellow very often, but this paper from Fancy Pant's Wonderful Day collection was just the right shade for what I wanted.

Stamps: Happy bug and extras digital stamp (Tiddly inks), Moka Madelyn (Taylored Expressions), Flower Friend (Simon Says Stamp), Gorgeous Grunge (Stampin Up)

Accessories: Stampin Up buttons, My Mind's Eye enamel dots, Spotlight lace, The cat's pajamas twine, Spellbinders label die, white embossing powder, heat embossing gun
